Use these starting points to choose a balanced fixture size and hanging height. Every room is different—our team is happy to review your measurements before you order.

Leave room between pendants
Start with 24–30 in between fixtures and keep the outer pendants at least 6 in from each island edge. Hang 30–36 in above the counter.
Room-size formulaAdd room length + width in feet. Use the same number in inches as an approximate chandelier diameter.
Walkway clearanceKeep at least 7 ft from the floor to the fixture’s lowest point in open walking areas.
